With a 10+ year history of being southwestern Ontario’s regional collaboration hub, The Accelerator’s startup community, entrepreneurs, SMEs and operations staff reflect the diversity of Ontario, Canada and the world at large. The Accelerator’s strength as a unique cross-border, multi-industry business incubator, business accelerator and scale-up organization is due in part to our location on the scenic Detroit River waterfront in Canada’s southernmost city, adjacent to the urban amenities of Detroit, Michigan, USA.

We provide entrepreneurs with the appropriate level of internal and external networks necessary to succeed. Because startups find themselves at a resource disadvantage, one of the most critical tasks performed by The Accelerator is to identify local and external partners and build linkages to them.

Trust is a driving force behind networking and cooperation, and it protects our clients from opportunistic behaviour. The Accelerator builds relationships that transcend short-term superficial outcomes, focusing instead on how our clients can work together to ensure everyone’s long-term success.
Business Coaching and Support Services
Startup Coaching Packages
or 4 payments of $125/month
Four, 60-minute one-on-one coaching sessions providing support and guidance for your startup. Coaching sessions can be held weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs and goals and include:
- Assessment of your startup's current status. Includes startup questionnaire and detailed analysis of your startup position.
- Development of 3-6 month goals for your startup using SMART goals.
- Creating of an operational model for your startup to achieve the 3-6 month goals using the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework.
- Planning of an accountability strategy to ensure you stay on track towards your goals.
A La Carte Coaching and Support Services
per hour
We can work with your startup to develop specific areas of your business, including:
- Business Plan
- Pitch Deck
- Investment Strategy
- Due Diligence
- Marketing Strategy
- Hiring Employees
A la carte coaching requires a 10-hour minimum commitment. Payment plans are available.
